Our Commitment to the Model Code of Conducted is Unconditional 

The ECI expects political parties and candidates to follow the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the election period but the Political Parties and Candidates on the other hand with extreme deftness disregard the MCC with all their might! We are not so much surprised to find the unwillingness of the ECI to strictly enforce the MCC at least during the election period and the unlimited zest with which political parties/candidates show the disdain for the MCC.

Lok Samya Party is committed to the MCC not only during the election period but for all times. Just like our self-imposed guidelines for raising funds and candidate selection, we resolve to follow the MCC guidelines for all times.

To ensure that we not only follow the MCC guidelines but go beyond the impositions of MCC, we have resolved to adhere to the following:
1.      We will NOT produce/print party flags eliminating the need for anyone to carry it during election period or otherwise. No need for us to ask/force people to put party flag on their properties.
2.      We will NOT deface walls (public or private) with election slogans/write ups during the election or otherwise
3.      We will NOT put unauthorized/unsanctioned billboard/flex during the election or otherwise
4.      We will NOT engage in criticism of other political parties or candidates and will limit our discussions to their policies and ideological stands only. 
5.      There will be NO appeal on lines of caste, religion or communal feelings. Our objective is to raise issues and work towards finding solutions to the problems faced by all Indians.
6.      We will NOT do conventional political rallies that involve gathering and mobilization of large people. Such rallies unnecessarily disrupt people’s lives, we do NOT intend to add/increase the miseries they are already facing. 
7.      We will continue to support and encourage healthy difference of opinion within our party and will remain open to receive feedback and criticism from various democratic stakeholders 
8.      We will continue to raise awareness among citizens/voters about their democratic rights and responsibilities and thier duty to protect the constitution.
9.      We will continue with our initiatives to clean and improve the level of current political discourse and bring back the focus on "Citizens"
10.  We will continue to promote, follow and uphold the values enshrined in our constitution for all times.
